The UFC will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an excellent  fight card live from  Denver, CO, the same place the promotion kicked off its first-ever card 25 years prior.  UFC 1 - The Beginning was the first mixed martial arts event by the UFC which took place  on  Nov. 12, 1993. UFC Denver will take place on Nov. 10, just two days shy of the official anniversary.

Headlining the card is a highly anticipated bout between Chan Sung Jung (aka The Korean Zombie)  and Yair Rodriguez. Though that wasn’t the original main event. Up until about a week ago, we thought we’d be getting Frankie Edgar and Jung, but Edgar was forced to withdraw from the bout and Rodriguez stepped into the vacant slot.

We also have a stellar co-main event in Donald Cowboy Cerrone and Mike Perry. The fighters, who both trained at Jackson-Wink MMA will be head to head for the first time since Cerrone left the gym, due in part to Perry.

The card also got a late addition bout in Julian Erosa vs. Devonte Smith who are stepping onto the card after appearances on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series,
